Favorite Band

Yay!
The other day my Mom got her i pod and so she has been buying a lot of music. She found a place called Rhapsody were you can buy and download whole albums or separate songs. I just happened to have enough on hand, so I bought a HUGE album of my favorite band, The Beach Boys! I really like there music. It's old, tropical, and oh,so, rockin'!not to mention they did a lot of the songs from Herbie - Fully loaded.
Also this week, I finally got around to earning the rest of that money so, come Saturday or Sunday I'll bring my bug home hooray!!!!

My new fave

Well, I finally found a TV show to watch. I mean sure, I watched Fairly Odd Parents. But let's face it, just like every other Nickelodeon show, it's gone down hill. My new favorite is the EXTREMLY long running British Si - Fi Doctor Who. I've always loved science fiction, and if your a friend, you know I like old stuff. That show has been running since the 1930's. Well it was on the radio then. There have been ten actors to play doctor who. They say he, 'regenerates' when close to death. My favorite doctor is the current one, David Tenennt. He is in both pics. Everybody else's favorite it seems is the fourth doctor, Tom Baker. ( curly haired one with the scarf.

Can't wait for summer

Whew! What weather! It was supposed to be cold all week but yesterday was as warm as summer will ever be. Were expecting snow next week ( or should I say green grass ) Hmm... I guess you can't always trust those weather people. We have lots of hopes for this summer. Mom and I are going to start running together for exercise. And, best of all, I bring Herbie, umm..er..my bug back from the junkyard! Hooray for summer!!!!

New Book

I have decided to start doing more reading and less TV watching. Yesterday I got my book in the mail. The Scarlet Pimpernel. It's a really good book so far and think I'm gonna like it. I was going to buy a book called bug tales ( yes, I know I am a nerd. ) But I decided to read something more educational ( It was to expensive ).lol. Anyway the book is about the French revolution and a man who rescued royalty from behind the French borders. Exciting!

Ruby's new fave

Recently we watched the live action Casper movie on TV. I didn't even know that they had made a movie of that show! I remember watching that when I was really little. I used to always cry at that episode when his friend the fox died. Mom and Dad have teased about that for years.lol. I think it's really nice that Ruby finally found something to like on her own. She's been following in my footsteps on all the things I liked for years. It's really sweet but I know she should be able to be a fan of something on her own now.

These cars are the ones I think are the best. ( besides the VW bug of course. ) They are the Chevy Corvette and the Dodge Viper.

First Blog

This is my first blog post and not quite so sure what to say. I guess my friends are just better at this than I am. ( not a big surprise ). I wanted to show a few pics of my little bug, so small, so cute, so not - finished! Oh, well a diamond in the rough I guess. But it does have potential. It looks like this one on the bottom now. But it will look like that one on the top.
