Nick news and the Mighty Bee

First, the mighty bee is a TV show. I'm not blogging about the insect. We watched the world premiere on Nickelodeon today. We've been seeing commercials for it for a awhile. It was created by a lot of the people that made the other shows we watch ( like Spongbob and FOP ). Anyway it's just a really funny animated nicktoon. The other more important thing is Nick news. My dad read a post on Gun Owners of America about how nickelodeon wanted teenagers from 11 to 15 to come on TV and talk about the case in DC about banning guns. He put an Email in to them about me. The next day, they called and said that nick had accepted me as one of the possibility's. Then, on Monday, I had a pre-interview with a lady directly from nickelodeon. They said after the interview that if we got picked me and one adult would fly over to NY. NEW YORK BABY! And stay in Time Square.of course, we don't know yet. But there is a good chance. Just remember I said maybe!!! ( picture is of Time Square )

Bug - a - Palooza!

Guess what I'm probably doing next week! only the coolest thing a dorky VW nut like me would want to do instead of going to that giant art museum that's only free for a day, Bug - A - Palooza! Whats that you may ask? Oh nothing important, just the biggest once a year bug show EVER!! It's got tons of cal looks, (you know, California lookers? ) awesome paint jobs, and crazy lookin' bugs!! Oh' yah this is gonna be fun! Here's some pics from the last one.

Bad news and good news

First the bad news, my bug was sold. Yah, that's right. That mean guy Blaylock in the junkyard sold it to someone else when I had already payed one hundred bucks for it!! GRR... he makes me so mad! Oh well, the good news. I found another one! And this one is more of what I wanted, cheaper and the guy who is selling it is really nice. It's also a 68' which is closer to the year Herbie was. Sure, it's in worse shape mechanical wise, but mmaann is it CUTE!( Just a quick warning though, we haven't payed anything for it yet so don't be to disappointed if it doesn't work out. ) Here's a pic of it.

Favorite Band

The other day my Mom got her i pod and so she has been buying a lot of music. She found a place called Rhapsody were you can buy and download whole albums or separate songs. I just happened to have enough on hand, so I bought a HUGE album of my favorite band, The Beach Boys! I really like there music. It's old, tropical, and oh,so, rockin'!not to mention they did a lot of the songs from Herbie - Fully loaded.
Also this week, I finally got around to earning the rest of that money so, come Saturday or Sunday I'll bring my bug home hooray!!!!

My new fave

Well, I finally found a TV show to watch. I mean sure, I watched Fairly Odd Parents. But let's face it, just like every other Nickelodeon show, it's gone down hill. My new favorite is the EXTREMLY long running British Si - Fi Doctor Who. I've always loved science fiction, and if your a friend, you know I like old stuff. That show has been running since the 1930's. Well it was on the radio then. There have been ten actors to play doctor who. They say he, 'regenerates' when close to death. My favorite doctor is the current one, David Tenennt. He is in both pics. Everybody else's favorite it seems is the fourth doctor, Tom Baker. ( curly haired one with the scarf.
